Day 01: Arrive Mumbai

On arrival at Mumbai Airport / Railway station, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel and relax for the evening.

Mumbai, the commercial capital of India, is the most cosmopolitan metropolis of India. Also an important gateway to India, Mumbai is famous for its fascinating mixed culture, skyscrapers and scintillating nightlife.

Day 02: Mumbai - Aurangabad

After breakfast, morning at leisure. Just relax or visit the local markets. Later on time transfer to airport to board a flight to Aurangabad. Arrive at Aurangabad and check in to the hotel.

The fascinating 17th century city of Aurangabad is known for its diverse industries, fine silk textiles, and the world-famous Himroo- exquisite hand woven brocades of silver and gold fabrics. Aurangabad is the gateway to the ancient caves of Ajanta and Ellora, the treasure trove of Indian Art and Sculpture.

Day 03: Aurangabad - Ajanta Caves (excursion)

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a daylong excursion to fascinating Ajanta Caves.

Ajanta Caves: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ajanta is world-renowned for its 2nd century BC rock-hewn caves, nestled in an inner fold of the Sahyadri hills. These 30 odd caves were discovered in 1819 by a group of British army officers. Ajanta caves feature several chaityas (chapels) and viharas (monasteries), and are famous for their exquisite wall and ceiling paintings, panels and amazing Buddha sculptures.

Day 04: Aurangabad - Ellora Caves (excursion)

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a visit to the Ellora Caves, Daulatabad Fort and Aurangabad Caves.

Ellora Caves: Located just 30 km away from Aurangabad, Ellora is famous for its rock-hewn temples and monasteries. There are a total of 34 cave temples at Ellora, consisting of 12 Mahayana Buddhist caves (built between 550-750 AD), 17 Hindu caves (built between 600-875 AD) and 5 Jain caves of the (built between 800-1000 AD). The Kailash Temple (cave16) houses the world's largest monolith structure, and is the prime tourist attraction at Ellora.

Aurangabad Caves: Located on the outskirts of the city, Aurangabad Caves were excavated between the 2nd and 6th century AD. There are a total of 9 caves with interesting viharas (monasteries). Caves 3 and 7 are the major attraction for tourists. While Cave 3 is has sculptures depicting scenes from the legendary Jakata tales, Cave 7 has outstanding figures of ornamented women and a giant Bodhisattva sculpture.

Daulatabad Fort: Located at a distance of 13 km from Aurangabad, Daulatabad Fort is a magnificent 12th century fortress.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Aurangabad.



Day 05: Aurangabad - Mumbai

After breakfast, on time transfer to airport to board a flight back to Mumbai. Arrive at Mumbai and check into the hotel. After freshening up, enjoy an excursion to the famous Elephanta Caves. On your way back, visit the famous tourist attractions of Mumbai, including the Gateway of India. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Mumbai.

Day 06: Mumbai - Tour Concludes

After breakfast at hotel, day free till on time transfer to Int'l airport to board a flight for your onward destination or way back home with sweet memories of India Tour.
